Science Exhibition Organized by Faculty of Pharmaceutical Sciences
Faculty of Pharmaceutical Sciences organised ‘Science exhibition’ with great enthusiasm on 13th April 2023 in the reception area of the Department, 1 pm onwards. The event was graced with the presence of Hon’ble Dean, Faculty of Pharmaceutical Sciences, Prof. (Dr.) S.K.Sharma along with faculty members and students. More than 40 students participated in the exhibition and demonstrated around 17 models. The budding minds presented many creative and innovative ideas, as exhibits which were attractive and marvellous. The exhibits were indeed eye openers on various topics related to Human heart system, Human excretory system, tesla coil, medicine vending machine, Tesla coil, RAAS model etc. The exhibition provided a platform for the creative young minds to express their creativity, gain confidence and to perform scientific experimentation and innovation. The enthusiasm and skill clubbed with depth knowledge was commendable. With an endeavour to promote scientific attitude among students, the exhibition was one its kind. The eminent jury comprising of three members, Sh. Satbir Malik, Mrs. Shweta Kaushik, and Mrs. Priya Mudgal evaluated the exhibits and gave their judgement after inspecting each project on the criteria of innovation, ideation, creativity, and inquisitiveness in science. The event was organized by the Cultural committee members Mrs. Monika Duhan and Mrs Geeta Goel which led to smooth conduct of the event.
The result of the exhibition is as follows:
• 1stprize was conferred to: B.pharm 4thsem students ( Mohit, Aayush, Prateek, Nargis and Shivani ) Model name : Heart -Anatomy , physiology and pharmacology.
• 2nd prize was conferred to: B.pharm 4thsem students ( Taniya , Zoya, Poonam , Neha ,Neetu ) Model name : RAAS model.
• 3rd prize was conferred to 2 teams: B.pharm 1st sem students ( Komal , Ashish,Yashika and Dipanshu) Model name : Tesla coil and Diploma 1st sem students (Keshav , Aman Gaur and Shivam) Model name: Nerve cell .
• Innovative model award was conferred to: B.pharm 4th sem students (Raghav and Abhishek Jain) Model name: Microscopy from scrap
