It gives me immense pleasure to welcome students in the Faculty of Life Sciences at PDM University Bahadurgarh. The Life Science courses were introduced in PDM university in 2016. The faculty started with two courses – Biochemistry (Honours) and B.Sc. (General) LS. It has shown a tremendous growth in the last six years and presently it has five departments namely -Biochemistry, Microbiology, Nutrition and Dietetics, Zoology and B.Sc. (General) Life Science (BZC).
Faculty of life sciences at PDM University brings together a diverse group of students, staff and faculty to form a community which prospers with learning. Student’s creativity, curiosity and critical thinking are actively encouraged. Our innovative curriculum integrates the interdisciplinary knowledge, intellectual enquiry, deep thinking and problem solving skills at the forefront of education.
The program structure of all the courses provides opportunities for the personal growth and development of students. It further promotes life long learning so that they are able to pursue their passion and discover new ones. To keep the students abreast in the various fields of science and technology our vibrant Life Science society “BION” organizes debates, seminars, training programs, workshops, visits to other leading academic institutions and industries.
