Freshers Party 2022 – Faculty of Pharmaceutical Sciences
Faculty of Pharmaceutical Sciences, PDM University organised Freshers party ‘Aaरंभ‘ to 2022-2026 batch with great pomp and show in the Gymnasium Hall on 3rd February 2023. The Event was graced with the presence of Hon’ble Dean, Faculty of Pharmaceutical Sciences, Prof. (Dr.) S. K. Sharma along with faculty members and students of M. Pharm 1st, 2nd year, Diploma 1st,2nd year and B.Pharm 1st ,2nd ,3rd and 4th year.
The event proceeded with lightening of lamp ceremony of faculty members followed by Ganesh Vandana by Aarya, student of B.Pharm 1st year. Students of Diploma 2nd year, B.Pharm 2nd & 3rd year, Amar, Surbhi, Divyanshu, Sapna and Nitin hosted the event and welcomed all students and teachers.
Prof. (Dr.) S.K Sharma delivered a welcome speech in which he welcomed all the first year students and talked about the scope of pharmacy and importance of pharmacist in our society.
The main highlights of the event were cultural performances like solo dance, duet dance, group dance , skit and stand-up comedy performed by students of different years.
The event proceeded with Ramp walk by first year students where they introduced themselves to the audience using different tales adding more life to the event.
Post lunch the students again gathered in the gymnasium hall where they were awarded with different tags which are as follows:

The event concluded with open DJ for all students and faculty members. Overall it was joyous and fun filled day for everyone.
