Workshop for Vice-Chancellors and Registrars of Private Universities of Haryana
Prof. A. K. Bakhshi , Vice-Chancellor, PDM University attended a Workshop for the Vice-Chancellors and Registrars of Private Universities of Haryana on 9th September 2021 in Haryana Raj Bhawan. This day-long workshop was convened by the Hon’ble Governor of Haryana and was also attended amongst others by the Hon’ble Chief Minister of Haryana and many top officials of the State Government. Both  Hon’ble Governor of Haryana and the Chief Minister of Haryana addressed the workshop and lauded the efforts of the private universities  of Haryana in promoting higher education in the state.
Prof. Bakhshi delivered a presentation on the occasion highlighting the various challenges in the implementation of the NEP-2020.  He said that the present information age is an age of uncertainty, artificial intelligence and mass education. He said that in such a scenario focus needs to be on 21st century skills such as learning skills , literacy skills and life  skills besides knowledge and values.
